Booking & Appointments

How do I book a dog grooming appointment?+

The quickest way to book is via WhatsApp on 07570 384583. You can also message us on Facebook or Instagram. We'll discuss your dog's needs, confirm pricing, and find a convenient time for you.

How far in advance should I book?+

We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially during busy periods like spring and summer. Regular clients can set up recurring appointments to secure their preferred slot.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations may incur a charge as the appointment slot cannot be offered to another client at short notice.

How long does a grooming appointment take?+

A bath & brush typically takes 1-1.5 hours, and a full groom takes 1.5-2.5 hours depending on breed, coat condition, and size. We never rush — your dog gets the time they need.

Services & Pricing

How much does dog grooming cost in Kenilworth?+

Our prices start from £15 for a nail trim, £35 for a bath & brush, £55 for a full groom, and £65 for a spa & deluxe groom. Puppy first grooms start from £35. Final pricing depends on breed, size, and coat condition — we always confirm before your appointment.

What's included in a full groom?+

A full groom includes a premium shampoo and conditioner bath, professional blow dry, full brush out, breed-specific scissor or clipper styling, nail trim, ear clean, sanitary trim, paw pad tidy, and a finishing bandana. We'll discuss your styling preferences beforehand.

Do you offer breed-specific grooming?+

Absolutely! Aga is City & Guilds Level 3 qualified and experienced with all breeds. Whether you have a Cockapoo, Schnauzer, Spaniel, Westie, Shih Tzu, or any other breed, we'll groom to the correct breed standard or your preferred style.

Do you groom large dogs?+

Yes, we groom dogs of all sizes from small breeds like Yorkshire Terriers and Maltese to larger breeds like Golden Retrievers, Labradoodles, and Standard Poodles. Contact us to discuss your large breed's specific needs.

Puppies

When can my puppy have their first groom?+

We recommend booking your puppy's first groom from 12 weeks old, ideally 2 weeks after their second vaccination. Early grooming helps puppies build confidence and makes future grooming appointments much easier.

Will my puppy be scared during grooming?+

We take a very gentle, patient approach with all puppies. We never rush or force anything — we go at your puppy's pace. The one-to-one environment means no other dogs are barking or creating stress. Most puppies settle in quickly and many come to enjoy their grooming sessions!

How often should I bring my puppy for grooming?+

We recommend every 4-6 weeks initially to build confidence. As your puppy grows, every 6-8 weeks is typical. Breeds with curly or fast-growing coats (Cockapoos, Doodles, Bichons) may benefit from more frequent visits.

Coat Care & Health

My dog's coat is matted — can you help?+

Yes, we can help with matted coats. Depending on severity, we may be able to carefully de-mat the coat, or we may recommend a shorter clip for your dog's comfort and welfare. We'll always discuss options with you. Regular grooming every 6-8 weeks helps prevent matting.

Do you use natural or hypoallergenic products?+

We use high-quality, professional dog grooming products that are gentle on skin. If your dog has sensitive skin or allergies, please let us know and we can use appropriate hypoallergenic products.

Can grooming help with my dog's skin issues?+

Regular grooming can definitely help. We can spot skin issues early and recommend that you visit your vet if needed. Proper bathing, de-shedding, and coat maintenance contribute to healthier skin and coat.
